Lazarus Syndrome: Return After Clinical Death

Liam James Log by: Liam James
Lazarus Syndrome refers to rare medical cases where a person unexpectedly regains a heartbeat after being declared clinically dead. This phenomenon has been documented in several modern medical reports, usually occurring minutes after cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) has been stopped. In these cases, patients show no pulse or signs of life and are considered dead, only to spontaneously regain circulation without further intervention. Some individuals have even recovered fully, while others survived for a limited period after revival. Although extremely rare, Lazarus Syndrome challenges conventional understanding of death and highlights the complexity of the human body. It has led to increased caution among medical professionals before officially declaring death.
