India — Rajasthan: Muslim Women Denied Blankets During Aid Drive

A viral video shows former BJP MP Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria allegedly refusing blankets to Muslim women during a public distribution drive. After asking a woman’s name and realizing she was Muslim, he reportedly instructed aides not to give her a blanket and told the group to leave.
The women had reportedly waited for hours before being turned away. Congress MP Harish Chandra Meena condemned the act as discriminatory and inhuman. Jaunapuria later claimed the distribution was conducted in a personal capacity.
The incident has raised serious concerns about religious discrimination and unequal treatment of minorities in India.
