How to Add a Log

A log is a focused update, fact, event, source, or useful piece of information added to a topic’s timeline. It helps a topic grow over time instead of becoming a one-off post.

What belongs in a log?

Add information that advances the selected topic: a dated development, concise explanation, correction, source-backed fact, reference link, image, or relevant video. Keep it accurate, specific, and useful to future readers.

Start with the right topic

Browse the complete topics list, open the most relevant topic, and use its existing Add Log action. This keeps every contribution in the correct timeline; there is no separate submission form on this guide.

How to add your information

  1. Select a relevant topic and open its Add Log action.
  2. Write a clear title and the main text. Add the event date or time when it matters.
  3. Optionally attach supported images and add a reference title and source link.
  4. For video, choose either a supported external video link or upload a supported video file. Follow the preview, crop, size, and confirmation prompts shown in the form.
  5. Review the topic, sources, and media, then submit the log for moderation.

What happens after submission?

A submitted log may remain pending while a topic owner, editor, or administrator reviews it. Rejected logs do not join the public timeline. Approved logs become part of the topic’s timeline. An eligible approved log may receive the reward captured for it at submission, subject to available funding and the current platform rules; approval alone does not guarantee payment.
